Greenland wins and Bruni second in Mont Ste Anne.

It was another great weekend of World Cup racing for SDG as Laurie Greenland took the win in the junior event and Loic Bruni (FRA) took home second for the Elite men. Troy Brosnan joined Loic on the Podium in 3rd.   The track here at MSA is a beast, and the 25th running of the race here didn’t pull any punches. Wet and Wild in Fort William.

The Fort William round of the Mtb World Cup is renowned for it's wild weather, but this year's competition sets the bar high for crazy conditions. Emmeline Ragot of France (MS Mondraker) led the charge for SDG with a big crash yet still managing a podium finish in third place. Laurie Greenland (GBR) took second place in the junior category. World Cup season ends in France.

The World Cup downhill season ended this past weekend in Meribel,  France and Loic Bruni led the charge with a 4th place finish for the men. For the women, Emmeline Ragot raced to a second place finish, capping off a great season. The brand new track here in Meribel was steep, technical and fast. Many people have called it the track of the year, and even potentially one of the best downhill tracks of all time. SDG on the podiums at the Mont Ste Anne World Cup

The World Cup returned to the legendary Mont Ste Anne, Quebec downhill track this weekend and as usual, excitement levels were high. Troy Brosnan (AUS) lead the charge for SDG athletes winding back up on the podium in 4th place.  The young Australian was only 1.9 seconds off the pace, a time set by his long time mentor, Sam Hill. Brosnan will retain the series lead and the coveted #1 plate with 2 rounds remaining in the series. A great weekend for SDG in Leogang!

SDG riders were all over the podium this week at the Leogang, Austria round of the 2014 MTB World Cup.  Troy Brosnan once again led the charge for SDG in 3rd place. Brook Macdonald was 4th, making his return to the World Cup podium after a long recovery from injury.  Trek World Racing teammate George Brannigan rode to a fantastic 5th place finished and rounded out the podium.
