    warrants that new SDG Components product will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year (Limited Lifetime Warranty for Tellis V2 and 2 Years for Tellis V1 Dropper Seat Post) from the time of purchase to the original retail owner (consumer) with a valid proof of purchase from an authorized SDG Components Dealer or from a SDG Components authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer where SDG Components product is included as original equipment on a purchased bicycle.

    TERMS OF WARRANTY

    This limited warranty is conditioned on SDG Components products being used under normal riding conditions and properly maintained as specified by SDG Components in installation guidelines (per owner’s manual). This limited warranty is only applicable to SDG Components product when purchased new from an authorized SDG Components source and is made only to the original retail owner (consumer) of new SDG Components product and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

    SDG shall repair or replace (at SDG’s sole discretion) any parts found by SDG Components to be defective and subject to this warranty.

    This warranty does not cover damages that occur as a result of shipment, storage, accidents, shocks and/or crashes, misuse, use not consistent with the original intent for the product, neglected or poorly maintained products, improper assembly, assembly with non-compatible products, normal wear and tear, or modifications to the original product.

    This warranty specifically excludes surface finishes and cosmetic treatments including but not limited to surface finishes and decals.
    
Any implied warranties, including warrants of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited in scope and duration in accordance with this Limited Warranty. SDG shall not be responsible for any direct, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages suffered by any party. The foregoing statements of warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all other remedies. In the event of legal action, the sole proper venue for all claims or disputes under this warranty shall be contested in the courts of the State of California.
    
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, or the limitations or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the limitations and exclusions set forth in this Limited Warranty may not apply to you.

    When making a claim under this Limited Warranty you will be required to provide the following:
    1. The Product or affected part (serial number if applicable)
    2. A copy of the original proof of purchase of the product which clearly states the name and address of the seller with date and place of purchase. If SDG Components product was purchased as part of a bicycle, the brand, model and model year along with serial number should be included.
    3. Send an email to support@sdgcomponents.com to receive a Service Request Form. Once received, you will be assigned an RMA number.
    4. Send your SDG Components product to:
