World Cup season ends in France.

The World Cup downhill season ended this past weekend in Meribel,  France and Loic Bruni led the charge with a 4th place finish for the men. For the women, Emmeline Ragot raced to a second place finish, capping off a great season. The brand new track here in Meribel was steep, technical and fast. Many people have called it the track of the year, and even potentially one of the best downhill tracks of all time. SDG on the podiums at the Mont Ste Anne World Cup

The World Cup returned to the legendary Mont Ste Anne, Quebec downhill track this weekend and as usual, excitement levels were high. Troy Brosnan (AUS) lead the charge for SDG athletes winding back up on the podium in 4th place.  The young Australian was only 1.9 seconds off the pace, a time set by his long time mentor, Sam Hill. Brosnan will retain the series lead and the coveted #1 plate with 2 rounds remaining in the series. Troy Brosnan wins in Fort William!

It was a case of the student becoming the teacher, as Troy Brosnan (AUS) took home his first world cup win here in Fort William, Scotland. The young SDG rider has been moving up the ranks for a few years, but has now finally secured his place among mountain biking's elite with the win.It was an odd week of racing here in Scotland, as weather threats threw the normal schedule out the window. SDG all over the podium in Cairns!

Race conditions were far from ideal in Cairns at the MTB World Cup this past weekend, but SDG riders made the best of it, scattering themselves across the podiums.   Loris Vergier of France took home the win in the junior category aboard his Lapierre to get things started.  In the women's race, Emmeline Ragot was 4th, also on a Lapierre.
